Kings Field Skate Park has been used by many young people over many years and has reached the stage where it needs to be redeveloped. Young people, Kcafe and Parks and Open Spaces department have all met to talk about the plans and future of the Kings Field skate park. We all have reached the desicion that time has come for Kings Field to have a brand new concrete skate park, that would attract even more young people and will last much much longer than our current skate park. Kcafe has been facilitating monthly skate park redevelopment meetings, where we talk about new skate park designs, fundraising and many other stages of this project. If everything goes according to the plan, we will have a brand new skate park ready for the summer of 2010.
